A tourist died and at least four people were injured when a small plane used for skydiving crashed into Bachoco Bay, on the beaches of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca.
According to the report, the pilot lost control of the aircraft with registration number N80GE, so he attempted to make an emergency landing on the beach, a few minutes after taking off with 17 paratroopers on board.

The fire department reported that the victim, identified as Armando “N”, 62 years old, was on the beach when the plane hit.
The aircraft, which ended up with a broken wing crashed into a palapa, was identified as the property of the “Sky Dive Puerto Escondido” skydiving center.
Through social networks, Governor Salomón Jara regretted what happened and assured that the victim’s family would receive the necessary support and accompaniment “in the face of his irreparable loss.”
