In a video that circulated on social networks, the moment when a man descends from a motorcycle and begins to attack the element of the National Guard who was driving a blue vehicle is observed.
Yobani Omar tried to defend himself, but his left hand was amputated after receiving a blow with the machete, as seen in the images.
This Thursday, images of the reattached hand, in which a huge seam that joins the wrist with the forearm stands out, were disseminated on social networks.
Unofficially and due to the circulation of the image of the hand allegedly sewn, it has been pointed out that the element of the National Guard was transferred to a hospital in the city of Oaxaca where he was surgically intervened.
The events occurred around five o’clock in the afternoon of February 24 in Benito Juárez street, between Bravo and Venustiano Carranza roads, in the Centro neighborhood of Huajuapan de León, municipality of the Mixteca of Oaxaca, according to local media.
