Oaxaca de Juárez. On Monday morning, elements of the road police reopened some streets in the historic center that remained closed for two weeks.

From an early hour, traffic and road elements removed the metal fences that obstructed the streets of Morelos and Matamoros.

The roads had been closed by the municipal government on the grounds of avoiding the installation of street vendors in the area.

So far it has not been reported if the other points in the city center will be opened.

Meanwhile, merchants could return to these points to set up their stalls, however, the municipal government has not issued any statement in this regard.

So far the streets of Bustamante, García Vigil and Flores Magón remain closed.
