On Saturday, November 15, approximately 200 people marched from the Fountain of the Eight Regions to the Government Palace in Oaxaca City, as part of a national mobilization led by the “Generation Z” collective, which saw demonstrations in several cities across the country.
In Oaxaca, the call to action was issued by the Oaxaca Youth Revolutionary Movement to protest against corruption and insecurity in the country. The group departed at 11:00 a.m. and upon arriving at the Government Palace, they chanted slogans while demonstrating in the plaza in front, waving their Straw Hat Pirates flags from the anime One Piece.
