The Mezcal Fair 2024 is one of the most anticipated events of the year. As part of the Guelaguetza celebrations, this event brings together more than 70 Mezcal brands. Oaxaca is the state with the highest production of Mezcal in Mexico, with about 91%. It is a drink that is deeply rooted in the culture of the Oaxacans.
When and where is the Mezcal Fair 2024?
The biggest festival for Oaxacans, #Guelaguetza2024 is getting closer. The Mezcal Fair will take place from July 20 to 30, 2024 at the Cultural and Convention Center of the State of Oaxaca, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Tips for visiting the Mezcal Fair 2024
What time to arrive?
If you visit the Mezcal Fair with your family, the ideal time is from 11:00 to 16:00, since you will have the fair with few visitors, being able to walk through the aisles without complications.
If you attend with your friends or partner, the time we can recommend is from 16:00, to walk through the stands, enjoy the Mezcal and then the music and unbeatable atmosphere among the attendees. It should be noted that this time is the busiest, so it is difficult to walk between the aisles, however it is when there is the most atmosphere.
How much does it cost?

Transportation
If you want to arrive by vehicle to the Convention Center, the ideal time is before 4:00 p.m., since parking will be in high demand, so to avoid long waits or inconveniences the best option is to arrive early.
A taxi from the Historic Center to the convention center can charge a fare between 70 to 100 pesos. You can also arrive on buses that the State Government enables to facilitate and expedite the arrival of visitors. Food
