Around 300 migrants who were traveling aboard trailers, in the vicinity of the Central de Abastos, in the City of Oaxaca, were detained by personnel from the National Institute of Migration (INM).
In a first event, 120 people were located inside the box of a trailer on the banks of the “Atoyac” river, near the Vicente Suárez neighborhood.
In a second unit, around 200 people were traveling aboard a trailer that was stopped while it was circulating in the vicinity of the Guadalupe Victoria Bridge.
The detainees were transferred to the INM facilities; Meanwhile, the federal agency has so far not reported details on the health status of the people traveling in both vehicles, their nationalities or immigration status.
