With just 11 years of its appearance, WhatsApp is used in Mexico by 77 million users, both for new generations and for older adults, to communicate with friends, family, or for work issues, thus becoming one of the largest applications Use in the country.
Cristina Múzquiz Fragoso, director of Teaching in Information and Communication Technologies, of the General Directorate of Computing and Information and Communication Technologies, of the UNAM, also noted that according to a recent study of the highest house of study, Mexicans they use this application to communicate with friends (91.3 percent), with family members (81.7), and more and more for work reasons (just three percent).
