Starting this Sunday, February 1st, the BinniBus service will expand to include the following lines: RA-01 “Jnòn”, RA-16 “Ri’nîn”, and RA-07 “Uxacha”. These lines will operate seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Line RA-01 “Jnòn”, which means backstrap loom in the Amuzgo language of San Pedro Amuzgos, connects Esquipulas with the Central de Abasto (wholesale market). Line RA-16 “Ri’nîn”, which translates to huipil in the Triqui language of San Andrés Chicahuaxtla, links the Guelaguetza neighborhood with Plaza del Valle.
Meanwhile, route RA-07 “Uxacha”, whose name means coyote in the Ixcatec language of Santa María Ixcatlán, will travel from the Second Section of Guadalupe Victoria to the Moctezuma neighborhood.
The general fare is 8 pesos. The fare is 4 pesos for seniors and students with ID, and the service is free for people with disabilities; this brings the total to 18 routes launched.
