The State Coordination of Civil Protection and Risk Management (CEPCyGR) urges the population to take precautions due to the landslide and subsidence that occurs at kilometer 164+300 of the highway that leads to the municipality of Santa Catarina Ixtepeji in the Sierra de Juárez.
It reports that traffic on this road remains intermittent, so the artisanal road that connects with the town of Santa Catarina Lachatao was enabled for the passage of light vehicles. For those traveling in trucks or other cargo vehicles, it is suggested to look for alternative routes, in order to avoid incidents or damage to the road.
It should be noted that municipal authorities of Santa Catarina Ixtepeji and personnel from the Traffic Police are already in the area, who support the intermittent passage of motorists.
