Guerreros de Oaxaca presentan imágenes de lo que será su nuevo estadio

This Monday, the Guerreros de Oaxaca team officially revealed the project for its new stadium, surprising its fans after days of expectations generated on social media. The images of the design, shared on its digital platforms, have caused a great impact among its followers.

The construction of the stadium, scheduled to open in 2026, will be possible thanks to a collaboration agreement between the Guerreros and the Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca (UABJO). Cristian Eder Carreño López, rector of the UABJO, and Alfredo Harp Helú, owner of the team, formalized this agreement that promises to transform the sports infrastructure of the region.

The new venue is not only designed to promote baseball in the south of the country, but also aspires to be one of the most modern and emblematic stadiums in Mexico. In addition to strengthening the team’s presence in Oaxaca, the stadium is expected to boost the local economy and encourage greater sports fandom in the state.

Earthquake-proof and with capacity for 7,000 people
Designed to be completely sustainable, the stadium will be built with Oaxacan stone and will have earthquake-proof structures.

It will have the capacity to accommodate 7,000 fans and will offer underground parking for 500 vehicles, making this an accessible and safe space for attendees. With this project, the Guerreros de Oaxaca reaffirm their commitment to their fans and to the sports development of the entity.
