In this activity that will take place from 10:00 to 18:00 hours, 32 talented artisans from six municipalities will participate: San Bartolo Coyotepec, Ocotlán de Morelos, San Marcos Tlapazola, Santo Domingo Tonaltepec, Santa María Tavehua and Santa María Atzompa.

The head of SIPCIA, Berta Ruth Arreola Ruíz said that this event is not only a showcase for the creations of black, polychrome, dripped, red and green clay, distributed in 16 stands, but also, it is a space for meeting and intercultural dialogue, where respect and appreciation of indigenous pottery traditions are promoted.

The Fiesta de la Tierra strengthens the social and economic fabric of the peoples, promoting sustainable development through art and culture. In addition, it keeps these traditions alive to preserve the identity of indigenous communities.

The richness and variety of the techniques and styles used are broad, with each town contributing its own approach and creativity, contributing to the artistic diversity of the Oaxacan territory.
