The storm has dissipated throughout this Friday, after causing storms in at least seven states
Heavy rains caused by storm Alberto this week collapsed the drainage system of the Guillermo Zarate Mijangos hospital in Oaxaca, causing partial flooding of some of its wards on Thursday afternoon.
Nearly 80 patients and family members were evacuated from the facilities after spending several hours trapped by high water levels. Authorities reported that there were no injuries linked to the events and the patients have been transferred to hospitals near the area.
