Authorities seek help in identifying the victim
The body of a woman who was rescued on Zipolite beach, belonging to the municipality of San Pedro Pochutla on the Oaxaca coast, remains unidentified.
The lifeless body of the woman was found this Thursday on the Zipolite beach where emergency forces rescued it.
The woman was wearing a bathing suit, was between approximately 18 and 25 years of age, reportedly had consumed intoxicating beverages, and did not have identification.
The body was transferred to the municipal amphitheater of San Pedro Pochutla pending identification by relatives.
However, no one until press time had come to carry out the recognition process and the body could be deposited in the common grave.
