Cuban treatment against Coronavirus will arrive in Mexico

The “interferon alfa 2b” treatment has effectively cured more than 1,500 patients with Covid-19.

Representatives of the Cuban biomedicine industry, which helped create the drug ‘Interferon alfa 2B’ used to combat Covid-19, will be in Mexico to publicize its scientific advances.

At a press conference, Miriam Martínez Delgado, director of Fairs and Exhibitions of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, said that this business sector will be in the capital of Mexico to attract investors.

During the exhibition “Cuba in Mexico 2020”, which will be held at the embassy of that country from March 4 to 6, Delgado said that his country has unique products in the market.

Among them, in addition to Interferon, there are other medications to treat diabetes and prevent amputations, as well as drugs to treat foot, lung and prostate cancer.

“For example, to mention that the Republic of China has chosen one of the Cuban products for the cure of the virus (Covid-19) that is threatening the world,” he explained about the advances and specifically the treatment used to treat the coronavirus. .

So far it is known that Interferon managed to effectively cure more than 1,500 patients with Covid-19 and is one of the 30 drugs chosen by the Chinese National Health Commission to combat respiratory disease.

” Interferon alfa 2B has the advantage that in situations like these it is a mechanism to protect itself, its use prevents patients with the possibility of aggravating and complicating from reaching that state, and finally have death as a result,” said Luis Herrera Martínez , scientific and commercial advisor of the BioCubaFarma business group.
